The Other Side Of Vine Street

Vine book fullcover

About Book:

Anora wasn’t aware of how hard the rain was falling until she got on Vine Road. The heavy rain always reminded her of her grandparents and how they left her because of the downpour. She drove along with the vibrant fluorescent lights that led to her house. The rain was pouring down. Even the windshield wipers could not go fast enough to make her view out of the window clear. She debated on pulling over but didn’t want to waste any time since she was so close to home. Her phone vibrated, startling her as it laid on the console. She glanced at the screen, noticing it was her mom texting her. “Are you almost home?” The screen went black. She glanced back up, trying to see through the violent rain pounding against the window. Fear filled her mind as she lay on her side, sandwiched between the cold soft dirt and the hot, slick metal of the car. The weight of the car pressed down on the lower half of her body
